Maple Ridge convenience store robbed at gunppoint

The Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in the early morning hours on Saturday.

On Feb. 25 at approximately 2:40 a.m. two masked men entered the store located at 23100 block of Lougheed Highway,  and produced a gun. They stole an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. They were last seen walking toward the Haney Bypass.

The first suspect is described as a Caucasian male, heavy build, approximately 5'5" tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a large grey logo on the chest, black track pants, and black running shoes.

The second suspect was described as a Caucasian male, five foot nine inches, with a slim build. He was wearing a black jacket over top of a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and grey running shoes.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604 463-6251.
