The cities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows have mailed 2023 property tax notices to all homes and businesses in their communities, and they should be in mailboxes now.
Property taxes are due on Tuesday, July 4.
If a resident does not receive their tax notice by June 9, they can contact their city.
In Maple Ridge, you can download the notice online at mycity.mapleridge.ca. To sign up for a ‘MyCity’ account, residents can refer to the previous year’s tax notice for important information, such as their property folio number and access code.
In Pitt Meadows, contact the finance department by email: pmtaxes@pittmeadows.ca.
The cities encourages taxpayers to save time and skip the line by paying their taxes online with their financial institution, paying by cheque (not cash) using the city’s secure drop boxes, or by mail. Make sure they are mailed well before the July 4 deadline to avoid penalties.
Postmarks are not accepted as proof of on-time payment.
For people that choose to make in-person payments, Maple Ridge city hall is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, and open until 8 p.m. every Thursday in June.
In Pitt Meadows, customer service is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for property tax payments.

Citizens are reminded they need to claim their homeowner grant with the BC Government by July 4, 2023. To claim your grant, check your eligibility, or for more information go to gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or call 1-888-355-2700.
