A male driver was taken to hospital by helicopter Friday after crashing into a power pole on Lougheed Highway, closing the eastbound lanes near 240th Street in Maple Ridge.
The westbound lanes remain open, according to Ridge Meadows RCMP, but the eastbound lanes are still closed.
“We’re hopeful the east lanes will be open soon,” RCMP said.
