Merry and Bright: the sequel at Aldergrove movie backlot

Port of proceeds to benefit food bank

It's Merry & Bright: the sequel.

Martini Film Studios will be holding a second Christmas celebration at Martini Town, the outdoor Aldergrove backlot often featured in popular movies and television series, that includes a small town, retro diner, New York streets, and more.

Gemma Martini, CEO of Martini Film Studios called it "a unique opportunity to experience joyful sights and sounds in a town designed, built and decorated by B.C.’s talented film crews. We’re proud of what our industry creates, and it’s a pleasure to share a bit of that magic with our community – inviting guests to step into the wonder of a Christmas movie.”

Additions include a large, clear-roofed tent covering the Town Square and a new sheltered area, with tables and chairs, near the food truck zone.

There will be daily live music performances, and Santa will visit nightly until Dec. 22.

Market Lane (housed in a heated, enclosed tent) will feature a variety of artisans and businesses.

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Langley Food Bank.

Merry & Bright at Martini Town, 1123 272 St. will run from Dec. 4 to Jan. 5, 2025, Wednesday to Sunday, 3-10 p.m. including Boxing Day and New Year’s Day; closed Christmas Day.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for a specific time slot. Available for purchase online only at martinievents.ca/buy-tickets.
