Ridge Meadows RCMP have located a woman who was reported missing last month.

Jaclyn Johnstone is safe and her family has been notified.

On Aug. 22 RCMP issued a press release asking for the public’s help in locating the 29-year-old, who mostly lives on the streets in the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows area.

She had been missing for a long time – not seen by anyone since July 5, and not in contact with her family since late June of this year.

In a press release on Wednesday, police thanked members of the public who assisted in finding Johnstone.
