A 24-year-old man was knifed in the stomach

A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Whistler.

In a statement Wednesday, RCMP responded to reports of a stabbing at 1:15 a.m. on Monday in the 4300-block of Main Street.

Mounties found the man with a single would to his stomach. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Policy believe he’d been hurt during an altercation between two people.

The suspect is described as a South Asian man, 6’ tall, 26-27 years old, 225 pounds, and wearing a forest green jacket with fur on the hood.

He is said to have been accompanied by a 5’10”, 140-lb blond woman.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.solvecrime.ca.
