The Pitt Meadows Community Association invites candidates vying for a seat on council to participate in an all-candidates meeting on Monday, Nov. 7, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the new South Bonson Community Centre.

The Pitt Meadows Community Association, which opened its office in Osprey Village in September, sees itself as a facilitator, a place where business, residents and elected officials come together for a common goal.

Korleen Carreras will moderate the meeting. Carreras is a successful business owner and facilitator. She has worked in many political campaigns in all levels of government and is on the provincial executive of the B.C. NDP.

The plan for the meeting is to provide each candidate with the opportunity to give a five-minute speech and the second half will provide the community with the opportunity to ask questions.

• RSVP no later than Nov. 1 by either calling the PMCA at 604-465-5500 or email hanna@pmcaonline.com.
