Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating an armed holdup of a pizza shop in Maple Ridge on Thursday night.

At approximately 10 p.m. on March 3, a male and female walked into the Little Caesar’s Pizza in the Meadow Ridge Shopping Mall, in the 11900-block of 207 Street.

After getting their food order, the male produced a knife and demanded money from the till. The couple did get a small amount of cash before leaving the area in a white pickup truck, with no canopy, in an unknown direction on Dewdney Trunk Road.

The male suspect is described as being Caucasian, approximately 25 years of age, 5' 8" tall, with a medium build, and brown coloured hair. He was wearing a faded black hoodie, with the hood up at the time of the robbery.

His female accomplice is described as being Caucasian, 5' 2", with black hair and thick eyeliner. She was also wearing a black hoodie with the hood up.

Police responded immediately to the call, but the suspects and vehicle were not located and efforts to identify the culprits have not been successful yet.

The Integrated Forensic Identification Section have been asked to examine the scene for any evidence, and police are asking for anyone with any information to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604 463-6251 and quote File No. 2016-4812.
