RCMP warn businesses to look out for sneaky thief

There's a training program to help business owners stay safe

Ridge Meadows RCMP are alerting businesses about a man responsible for a series of thefts in downtown Maple Ridge.

Police allege the man has gone into the back rooms of several businesses and stolen personal items, such as purses or loose money.

Police are asking store clerks or business owners to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251 if they see the man in the area of Lougheed Highway and Dewdney Trunk Road, between 222nd and 224th streets.
