The Ridge Meadows RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a water pump that was stolen from a Pitt Meadows farm on Friday.

According to Cpl. Julie Klaussner, the police were called to the farm at approximately 10:20 a.m. on June 2, where a large water pump had been taken from a cranberry field at Rannie Road and Tania Avenue.

“The water pump is valued at approximately $50,000,” said Klaussner. “This is a substantial piece of equipment that would require the assistance of another vehicle to be transported.”

RCMP is asking people to be on the lookout for the water pump and report any information to Const. Bailey A’Bear at 604-463-6251.
