RCMP are looking for two men, one possibly armed with a firearm, after another was threatened Wednesday near downtown Maple Ridge.
Just after 7:15 p.m., police were called to the 22000-block of Lougheed Highway, where two unknown men were seen climbing over a backyard fence. When the home’s owner confronted the men, one produced a handgun before both ran away.
No one was injured. Police are looking for suspects, both Caucasian, in their late 20s or early 30s. One has a thin build, while the other was heavier set.
All Ridge Meadows RCMP, including integrated Police Dog Services, Emergency Response Team members, and Air One conducted a thorough search of the area, said Cpl.Brenda Winpenny.
