Rollover crash sends one to hospital

SUV flips onto its roof during the evening rush in Maple Ridge

An SUV blocks eastbound Lougheed Highway after a rollover sent one to hospital at 216th Street Tuesday afternoon.

A woman was taken to hospital after her car collided with a SUV Tuesday evening in Maple Ridge.

The crash happened at Lougheed Highway at 216th Street after 5 p.m.

The SUV rolled over onto its roof, while the Nissan Protege had its front end damaged.

East bound traffic was diverted off Lougheed Hwy. while police investigated the crash and the vehicles were towed off the road.
