Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Metro Vancouver with up five centimetres forecast for the region.
A frontal system is moving across the south coast of British Columbia this morning, causing the white stuff to fall and stick, even at lower elevations.
The snow is forecast to change to rain this afternoon as the temperature rises.
The forecast high for the day is three degrees.
