The homeless camp on Cliff Avenue will be disbanded by October.

Police have seized four bicycles from the homeless camp on Cliff Avenue.

Sunday evening, a security guard at the camp saw four bicycles being loaded into the back of a truck.

A short time later, police found those bikes in the 22500 block of Brown Avenue.

Ridge Meadows RCMP believe the mountain bikes are stolen.

"There were no arrests made at the time. However, we are working to determine the ownership of these bicycles. Please remember, note your serial number and snap a pic of your bike," police said on Facebook.

The brand names of the bikes found are Blade, Norco Launch, Giant Rove Liv and CCM Incline.

Mounties are also using Facebook to see if it can reunite owners with their bikes.

They're asking owners to post descriptions of their missing bikes and will try to match those with current owners.

Crash on Lougheed corner

The driver of a Ford Escape has been charged with failing to yield to oncoming traffic after a collision and vehicle fire Monday morning at Lougheed Highway and 116th Avenue.

Ridge Meadows RCMP say there was a collision involving an eastbound GMC pickup truck and the left-turning SUV at about 9:20 a.m.

There didn't appear to be any serious injuries, although an off-duty firefighter did help the passenger in the pickup truck.
