A crash along a major artery in Maple Ridge has disrupted the afternoon commute.
Emergency responders were called to 25561 Lougheed Hwy. just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, where there were reports of a single vehicle crash.
The vehicle was reportedly in the centre lane with a person lying down on the road beside it.
Initially there was a call for the launch of an air ambulance, but the helicopter was eventually called off.
Traffic will be slow in the area.
