Trial dates have been set for the only man charged in connection with the sexual assault of teenage girl at a Pitt Meadows rave last year.
The trial for Colton Ashton McMorris is scheduled to last three weeks, beginning Feb. 21, 2012 in Port Coquitlam Provincial Court.
McMorris, 18, faces one count of sexual assault.
The other adult charged, Dennis John Allen Warrington, will be tried separately. Warrington, 19, is charged with making child pornography, and intending to distribute it.
He is back in court next week for an arraignment hearing.
The charges stem from the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl at “Another Night in Bangkok,” a party held on a farm at 12993 Harris Road in September.
Investigators believe that as many as 12 people witnessed the incident and “more than one individual” participated in it.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with distributing child porn in September, after photographs were shared by cellphone.
The images were eventually posted on the social-networking site Facebook.
No date for his trial have been set.
