The pair were seen around 11:45 p.m., causing a disturbance in the parking lot of the fast foot chain on Lougheed Highway near 227th Street.

Cpl. Alanna Dunlop said they left in a white hatchback car, possibly a Honda or Volkswagen, but returned a few minutes later.

One of them threw a rock through a drive-through window.

The suspects are white men. The man who threw the rock stands 5-6, while the driver of the car was 5-5, had black spiky hair and a lanky medium build. He was wearing a black jean jacket.

Debit stolen

A debit machine was stolen Monday out of a van parked in Maple Ridge.

The debit machine was taken from a 2005 Dodge van that is used for business.

“Police want citizens to be aware of these types of thefts and to make sure they know and trust the person, or business they’re dealing with when using automated banking devices,” said Cpl. Alanna Dunlop.

Curfew breached

Police have recommended a charge of breaching bail conditions against a man who was found violating a curfew on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old was a passenger in a car that was stopped by police on 104th Avenue, near Slatford Street in Maple Ridge, at 3:30 a.m.

Officers learned the man had been released on bail, with a conditions that prohibited him from being outside his house between midnight and 6 a.m. seven days a week.

The man was held in custody for a court appearance.

Warrant arrest

The 18-year-old was spotted with a group of people at the corner of 117th Avenue and 224th Street around 2:50 a.m.

After being arrested, police located more than 29 grams of marijuana on him. The marijuana was seized and the man was kept in custody to deal with the warrant.

Teen sniffed out

A pair of teenagers were arrested by police Monday for trespassing in a Maple Ridge town house complex.

Police were called to the property in the 21700-block of Dewdney Trunk Road after residents reported seeing the teens.

Police officers found a 15-year-old boy hiding in the backyard of one townhouse, while a police dog sniffed out a 15-year-old girl who was hiding in a storage shed of the same unit.

Cpl. Alanna Dunlop said further investigation revealed the youths did not steal anything.

Neither will face any formal charges.

Wire returned

An alert Maple Ridge resident helped police return wire stolen Wednesday from a construction site in Pitt Meadows.

The resident spotted a man rummaging around in the construction site around 11 p.m. on Harris Road.

The man threw a section of cable wire over the fence and left the site.

He was then seen picking up the wire and riding away on a bicycle.

Cpl. Alanna Dunlop said the resident kept watch and saw the man discard the cable before riding east on the railroad tracks.

Police patrolled along the railroad tracks, but failed to locate the suspect.

Officers retrieved the wire and returned it to the manager of the construction site.
