This is a reminder to family members and visitors to the Maple Ridge cemeteries that all adornments, cut flowers, wreaths and floral offerings need to be removed by May 2, 2025. Removal of these items is necessary to prevent injury when mowing the grounds and to avoid damage to personal items.
The Caretaker will remove cut flowers, wreaths and floral offerings placed on Graves and Niches when they become wilted, unsightly or is necessary or expedient for the operation of the cemetery. Artificial flowers may only be placed in a Cemetery between November 15 and March 15.
Items listed above (other than fresh flowers) that have not been removed by May 2, 2025 will be collected by the
Cemetery Caretaker and stored at the cemetery building for a period of six weeks.
