KURUCZ, Albert Louis

Albert Kurucz passed away April 21, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born in Sask., Canada on November 1, 1931 to Rosalia and Mike Kurucz. He is predeceased by his parents, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Survived by 2 sons Todd and Terry (Marsha); 2 loving grandchildren (Aaryanna and Joshua); 1 sister (Margaret); 3 brothers John (Hilda), Edwin (Marjorie) and Les (Signe). Albert was a long-time Pitt Meadows resident. He was a volunteer fireman for 25 years. When he wasn't fighting fires he was farming. You could always find Albert with his Morgan horse team driving his buggies in parades, weddings and graduations. When the snow would come he would use the team and give rides on the sleigh. You can see him in movies such as White Fang 2, MacGyver and Bordertown, driving his team like only he could. His greatest gift in life was his family. He was known by so many and loved for his generosity and kindness. He will be missed but never forgotten.
