ROSSET ~ Arlene
(nee Penhallurick)
Lost her battle with COPD on December 27th, 2006 with family & friends by her side. Arlene was born on August 1, 1937 in Winnipeg and lived there until finishing school. She moved to Calgary where she worked and married. Later she moved further west to BC where she lived in Langley, Vernon, Burnaby, and of late Maple Ridge. She was a respected writer and speaker but also worked as a loans officer to provide for her family. Arlene was the proud mother of Steve (Kim), Dawn (predeceased in 1991) and Terry (Dan Stanley). Her greatest source of joy were her six grand- children: Cameron 15, Johnathan & Laura 13, Samantha 12, Sara 10, and Tyler 7. Her cat Tux was her constant companion. The celebration of Arlene's life was held on Friday January 5 at 11:00 A.M. at the Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765-224th Street, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Arlene's name to the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation would be appreciated
