INNES (Bergman)Audrey D. June 29, 1938 ~ Dec 14, 2011. With great sadness we announce the passing of Audrey after a very short stay at Ridge Meadows Hospital. She is predeceased by her parents Albin (in 1977) and Evelyn (2011) Bergman and two brothers, Lyle (at 1 year old) and Wendell (at 45years old). She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Richard James and her three children, Carilyne, Christopher and Kevin (Julia Erika). Blessed with two step-granddaughters, Jessica and Jenifer and a grandson, Justin; brothers Leslie (Josie), Warren (Shirley), Barry and Terry (Lorraine) along with multiple nieces and nephews. Born in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan, the family moved to BC in 1956 to Prince George. Audrey continued on to Vancouver in 1957 to study at Vancouver General Hospital and in 1960 she became a Registered Nurse, a profession she proudly continued with grace and caring until her retirement in 2000. She enjoyed retirement with her favourite hobbies ~ knitting, crocheting and her dear pets, first Gracie, then Cindy & Teddy (who are missing her most of all now). There will be a Memorial / Celebration of Life for Audrey on February 25, 2012 at 2pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765 - 224 Street Maple Ridge.
