ROALD, BARNEY GLEN; July 18, 1943 (Prince Rupert, BC) - March 7, 2006 (Vancouver, BC)
Beloved husband, father, son and friend Glen Roald, 62, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Donna Roald (nee McNab), daughters Laura and Kenna, son Trevor, his mother Gunvor (nee Harper), brother Bruce, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends touched by his remarkable kindness and open heart. Glen is predeceased by his father, Barney Roald.
Glen lived his life with a twinkle in his eyes and a cheerful bounce in his step. He cherished his family, and they in turn cherished his love, support and wisdom. His generous spirit, sharp mind and gentle humour will live on through those who knew him.
His life will be honoured on Sunday, March 12 with a potluck celebration at
the Marpole Curling Club (8730 Heather Street, Vancouver) starting at 4:00 PM.
