HAYES (Hall / Hepworth), Beverly Eileen

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Beverly Eileen Hayes (Hall/Hepworth) of Maple Ridge, BC, on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the age of 64, in Ridge Meadows Hospital, Maple Ridge, BC.

Predeceased by her father Henry Hepworth (2013), and sister-in-law Debbie Hepworth, she leaves to mourn her passing: sons Michael (Cheryl) Hall, Maple Ridge, and Ryan Hall, Surrey, BC; grandchildren Avery and Emma Hall and Branden Berry; as well as her partner of 10 years Doug Schneider; mother Eileen Hepworth, Moose Jaw, SK; two brothers, Lorne (Fern) Hepworth, London, ON, and Glenn Hepworth (Vickie), Assiniboia, SK; sister Gail (Merv) Karst, Belle Plaine, SK; aunt and uncle Marge and Murle Johnson, Port Coquitlam, BC; and uncle Roamie Malesh, Calgary, AB; along with former daughter-in-law Tammy Berry and nephews and nieces Graeme (Sandra) Hepworth, Alana Hepworth, Candace (Kevin) Moody, Scott Hepworth, Lindsay Hepworth (Sean), Colin (Tricia) Karst, Warren (Brooke) Karst, Marla (Trevor) Simpson. Beverly was born in Assiniboia on October 30, 1949, the eldest daughter of Henry and Eileen. She attended school at Verwood in Assiniboia and Regina, then in 1968 moved to Port Coquitlam, married and had two sons. Bev also lived in Kelowna, then relocated to Maple Ridge, where she made many friends, in particular those at the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada Club where she enjoyed many hours and loved to go for the meat draws. Bev was most passionate about family and friends, cooking, music and gardening. She also enjoyed writing and seeking a good bargain. She will be dearly missed by all.
