January 30, 1997 - April 20, 2022
It is with deepest sorrow, we announce that Brandon Ramsay, age 25 our most beloved and only son, family member and friend passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Those who knew Brandon, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives that day. He was always willing to help anyone and was a true friend to his friends. He was quick to laugh and could easily put a smile on your face when he did.
He had an amazing ability to be sociable and fit in with any age group. He loved little kids and could easily become a little kid himself. He could just as easily turn around and become an adult and fit in with the elderly playing cards or just chatting.
Brandon will be missed everyday by his Mother and Father Judy and Neil Ramsay, his Grandparents Richard, Germaine, and Joe, his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, his girlfriend and love of his life Kylie and many great friends.
Brandon was born in Penticton BC on January 30, 1997. He moved to Maple Ridge with his parents in August of 2021. He loved the Okanagan and always talked about moving back some day.
Brandon was an avid fisherman. He loved fishing for trout and bass in lakes and for salmon in the rivers and streams. His favorite lake was Tunkwa and he would try to get out on that lake at least once each year with his girlfriend Kylie.
As Brandon grew up he loved sports. He started with Karate and also played Baseball, Soccer, Tennis and Football which was his favorite. He also got together with his friends often for games of Paintball and Airsoft.
His career choice was in construction and he quickly grew to be very good at this career always impressing the companies he worked for and moving into positions within the company normally held by older and more experienced people.
We LOVE and MISS you so much Brandon. Now God has you in his arms but we will always have you in our hearts. XOXO
There will be a celebration of life held in Penticton on May 28, 1:30 pm at the Penticton Seniors Drop In Center. If you wish to be a part of this, please feel free to reach out to his parents and family for more information.
Those who choose to give a gift to honor Brandon are asked to make a contribution in his name to the Salvation Army. He had volunteered for the Salvation Army for some time and felt that this organization helped and gave hope to many who were suffering and in need.
