August 5, 1962 - August 31, 2023
Brenda was born to parents Louie (predeceased) and Lorraine Lajeunesse on August 5th, 1962 in Royal Columbian Hospital, the third of four children; sister Debbie (predeceased), and brothers Jim and Dan.
Brenda worked as a waitress and courier/delivery driver and lived in much of the Metro Vancouver Region and most recently in the Ridge Meadows area raising three children; daughter Crystal (Andrew) Muxlow, and son's Tyler Lajeunesse and Dylan Mitchell (father's surname).
Brenda passed away peacefully in the early morning on August 31st in Surrey Memorial Hospital with her children by her side.
She is survived by Johnny Holmes, her partner of several decades, as well as her nieces Michelle Murgatroyd and Tabatha Lajeunesse, and nephew Lawrence (Larry) Sparvier as well as her grand niece and nephews.Brenda was pretty easy going, often calling herself a free spirit. She loved animals, Fleetwood Mac and her family.
Although her life was wrought with heartache caused by drugs, she will live on in our hearts as the carefree soul we all have come to know and love.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Ridge Meadows and Surrey Memorial hospitals, as well as the many friends and family that have shown care and support for Brenda in her latter months and asks that in lieu of flowers, to please donate to your local food bank.
