McEACHERN Bruce Allan

Passed away peacefully in Maple Ridge on Thursday, September 17, 2009 in the presence of his family. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years Elnora, sister Donnetta Ross, children; Darrel (Kathleen), Glenna (John), Angus (Marjorie), and Debbie (Roger), as well as 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Bruce was born in Maxim, Saskatchewan as the 5th of 11 children to Daniel
and Maryetta McEachern. He moved to Langley, B.C. with his parents in 1935 and then with Elnora to Albion, B.C. in 1944 where he lived until his death. Bruce worked as a logger, a fisherman and a merchant. Bruce and Elnora opened Bruce's Market in Albion, B.C. on April 2, 1948 and it remains a family business today.
Bruce was devoted to his faith, his family and his friends. He was a wonderful husband,father, grandfather and friend. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered for many years.
