On August 9th, 2009. Late of Pitt Meadows, B.C., age 78 years. Survived by herloving family, husband Erich, 4 children, Ilona (Dan) McDonald; Irene (Norval) Peterson; Ernie (Keri); Karen (Howard) Done; 6 grandchildren, Erin (Mark) Swint; Colleen McDonald; and Jennifer, Mike, Mark, and Jessica Podschadly; 3 step-granddaughters, Briana, Tanniel, and Melissa; brothers and sisters in Germany; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Saturday, August 15th at 11:00 am in the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969-216th Street. Special Thanks to the Nurses and Staff of Ridge Meadows ICU for the care and comfort given to Hilda and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.
