Cheryl Ann GREEN

February 4, 2005

GREEN, Cheryl Ann - It is with great sadness, that family and friends announce the death of Cheryl Ann Green on February 4, 2005. Cheryl was eternally optimistic and showed great strength in her battle with cancer. She was a wonderful woman; intelligent, talented and a fighter to the end. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Dwight, her mother Adeline (Borge), sisters Wendy (Al, Lauren and Brandyn), Penny (Gillian and Amber) and Milana (Chris).

Born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan in 1950, she was the 2nd of four, raised by Milo and Adeline Green. In 1951, the family moved to Maple Ridge, where Cheryl attended MRSS and in 1968 was crowned home coming Queen. Cheryl will also be remembered for her many years of service at the Maple Ridge Hospital where she accumulated many close friends.

In 1992, Cheryl met her true love, Dwight Schneider. They wed in the summer of 1996 and made their home in Ruskin, B.C. It was here, where their circle of friends gathered for Christmas, Sunday dinners, summer fun and good times.

The family also wishes to express gratitude to the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital Encology and Palliative Care Units and is thankful for all the loving attention that was shown to Cheryl.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl's memory to the Crohn's or Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. A pot luck celebration of Cheryl's life will be held at: The Ruskin Hall (96th & 284th St. Ruskin) Saturday, February 12, 2005 between 2:00-6:00 p.m.
