Cheryl Trudie OMAND

Cheryl, you will be missed

OMAND; Cheryl Trudie (nee Lane)

July 29, 1951- December 18, 2006.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cheryl Omand announces her passing. Cheryl passed away in the Moog & Friends Hospice House in Penticton, with her family by her side. Cheryl was a fighter, strong and courageous her whole life. Cheryl is survived by daughter Corrine, son Jeremy, their father Robert Omand, brother Gerry Lane (son Tommy), sister Myrna (John) Puska (son Dylan, daughter Michelle), cousin Theresa Konder, brother and sister-in-law; Bruce (Linda) Omand, (children Jason and Kirsty) and many other relatives and friends. Cheryl loved Penticton, where she spent the last three years. She loved to swim in Skaha and Okanagan Lake regularly throughout the summer. Cheryl was active in her community and attended regular yoga classes. Cheryl was an inspiration to everyone she knew with her positive attitude, zest for life and ability to always overcome adversity. Her giving nature and huge heart make us believe she earned her “wings” a long time ago. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Moog & Friends Hospice House, Oncology Clinic at Penticton Regional Hospital or the BC Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent to:
