FORTIER; Christian (Chris) Edith (nee Wilson)
March 2, 1935 - May 1, 2016
Chris, age 81 years old, born March 2nd 1935, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Bailley House in Maple Ridge on May 1st. Chris was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Paul Fortier and eight siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Andy (Michele) and Tim (Sherie), her grandchildren Andrea (Cory), Shawn, and Ellis, brother-in-law Rick, sisters-in-law Laurette and Mariette and many nieces and nephews. For many years Chris was a dedicated volunteer with the Boy Scouts of Canada serving as District Commissioner, she was a founding member of the Heart and Stroke Club of Maple Ridge and enjoyed a lengthy career as the activity coordinator for Maplewood Manor.
