It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Christian passed away at home on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
He will be deeply missed by his daughters Karisa, Shana and Kelsey, brothers Peter and Andy, sister Diana, brother-in-law Henk, his nieces and nephews, in-laws, and his five grandchildren.
Christian was born in Ocean Falls BC to Otto Freiburghaus (1928-1993) and Blanca Freiburghaus (1935-2011) Christian moved to Vancouver in 1966 before relocating to Maple Ridge in 1969. He continued to reside in Maple Ridge, B.C. until his passing.
Christian was an outstanding boilermaker for over twenty years before retiring in 2021.
Christian loved the outdoors, riding his bike, weightlifting, walking the local trails and spending time with his family. We are grieving this sudden loss, he will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
