THOMAS - CHRISTINA S. 1919 - 2004
Christina passed away quietly, in her 86th year on December 20, 2004. She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Norm and his wife Rosalie, and Greg and his wife Linda, three grandchildren, Chris Harkin and her husband Randy, Angela Manville and her husband Paul, and Aaron Thomas and his wife Kim, and five great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Emily, Ben and Makena. The youngest of seven children, she was always there to provide comfort and support to her parents and siblings. Tina experienced early sorrow with the death of her husband Ray in 1965, yet moved forward to a new and independent life on her own, surrounded by her extended family. Her faith was her guiding light and foundation throughout her life. She devoted many years of service to the fellowship at Westminster Gospel Chapel, and was a friend to all. She enjoyed her final years at Willow Manor in Maple Ridge, where she quickly made friends with the residents and staff. Thank you to the staff of Ridge Meadows Hospital 2 West, and the management and staff of Willow Manor for their kindness, compassion, and support. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday January 8, 2005, at Westminster Bible Chapel, 7540 Sixth Street, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Westminster Bible Chapel building fund.
