April 15, 1939 - April 24, 2019
After a life well-lived, it is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Chris Saunders. Chris was born in Bromley, Kent, England and with his adventurous spirit, emigrated to Canada with his young family in 1963. Chris will be remembered for his love of nature and animals, his long- time support of the underdog, his quick wit and entertaining speeches.
Chris is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan; his children Christine Elliott (Jim), Ian Saunders (Melody), Janet Kerr (Don); and by his grandchildren Krystal, Taylor, Sean, Oliver, and Carys.
Chris did not want a celebration of life, but he would have appreciated donations to the Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society. Donations can be made at www.volunteercancerdrivers.ca.
