October 3, 1936 - November 11, 2024
It is with sadness we announce the death of Claire Pratt (nee Darbey), who passed away unexpectedly following a short illness on November 11, 2024 at Ridge Meadows Hospital surrounded by her family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Bud (2012) and their infant son, Robert (1965).
Claire is survived by her three children and their families: Laura & Mick (Natalie, Erin), Janice & Terry (Kurtis & Andrea; Kelsey and Deni), and John & Rae-Ella (Madison, Felicia), and great grandson, Felix.
Claire is also survived by her sister, Marlene and nieces and nephews.
Claire was born in New Westminster on October 3, 1936, and lived in Europe and across Canada, as Bud was in the Air Force. They retired in Maple Ridge over 50 years ago.
Claire was an avid golfer, Legion member, and volunteer for the Maple Ridge Hospital Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers the family request you consider a donation to the Maple Ridge Hospital Foundation.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Luke's Parish 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road Maple Ridge, on November 28, 2024 at 1 pm, with a reception to follow.
