May 31, 1939 - December 25, 2024

Our beloved mother, Clara Kristina Gervais of Maple Ridge B.C. peacefully passed, on Christmas day, following a lengthy battle with dementia and 5 days of respite care, Mission Memorial hospital.

A coal-miner's daughter, Stina was born in Mercoal Alberta, before moving to B.C. is predeceased by her parents William & Lili Brooks, sister's Josephine & Patricia, brothers William & Peter and the father who raised her, Walter Bruce.

She will forever, lovingly, be remembered by her children, Cindy Gervais, Candis (Patty) Taylor, and Victor Gervais Jr., two surviving sister's Bonnie Longoz & Kathy Bruce, her grandchildren David, Jacob, Patrick, Zachary, Candis and Benjamin, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, numerous friends and all who were blessed to have known her.

Throughout, she lived life to the fullest, remained true to her core values, faithful, sincere, fully loving and forgiving, never missing an opportunity to celebrate, share a kind word, wisdom, and even rebuke. It was, and still is "UP2U", she would say. She never missed a Merrit mountain musical festival, or to run in a Fraser River raft race, a blue moon gazebo party, back yard BBQ's, enjoyed 40 plus years of season's tickets to the B.C. Lions, worked various jobs, including her own catering business, was homecoming queen and even saw Elvis live in concert.

Stina always said she wanted to go out with a glass of wine in one hand and a zip-line in the other. She was called heaven bound to join her lifelong partner, the love of his life, her husband, Victor Gervais. Merry Christmas Dad. Both will be buried in the Herman Gervais graveyard Loon Lake Sask.

2 Corinthians 5:7
