It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the greatest wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Daphne passed away peacefully Wednesday December 31, 2008 in Maple Ridge at the age of 55, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Daphne will be missed ever so dearly by her Husband Dennis of 33 years, their Daughter Heather (Darren) and new granddaughter Kara, son Michael, her father George and her brother John (Berna). She is predeceased by her mother Sophia. She is survived by her Sister-in-law Patricia. She will be sadly missed by her long time co-workers of Westgate Dental and Meadow Ridge Dental. Daphne will be fondly remembered and never forgotten by her many extended family and friends.
Daphne touched so many lives and will be remembered for her courage, strength, wonderful personality and determination. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all the Nurses from Fraser Health Home Support and also at McKenney Creek Hospice for all their care and compassion. Thank you to Dr. Connor and Dr. Chapman for all the help in the last few months of Daphne's life. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or McKenney Creek Hospice.
A service will be held for Daphne on Monday, January 12th, 2009 at 1:00p.m. at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 224th St, Maple Ridge.
