Davis, Dennis Frederick passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on August 31, 2020 at the age of 66. Dennis fought a short, tough battle with cancer. Dennis was predeceased by his loving wife, Julie Davis (nee Bailey), his dogs, Rebel and Outlaw, mother-in-law Helena Bailey, parents Russell and Shirley Davis (nee Blake) of Belleville ON, sister Dixie Locke (nee Davis) and brother-in-law Brian Locke of Stirling ON, brother-in-law Gerry Pope of Belleville ON. Dennis is survived by his loving daughter Kristina Bonner (nee Davis), son-in-law Richard Bonner and his two grandsons, Nathan and Josh Bonner of Maple Ridge BC, his brothers Don Davis (Diane Davis) of Campbell River BC, and Darryl Davis (Sharon Davis) of Harrison Mills BC, sister Debbie Pope (nee Davis) of Belleville ON, and nieces Jackie Locke, Melissa Davis, Lindsey Davis, Amanda Davis and Kaylee Davis, and nephews Fabian Pope and BJ Locke.
Dennis will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbours and many people in the community. His crass sense of humour brought smiles and laughter to everyone he came in contact with.
Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life will be determined at a later date, following all protocols and restrictions as outlined by BC Public Health. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Maple Ridge SPCA in Dennis Davis' name. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff in Emergency at Ridge Meadows Hospital, and the Fraser Health community home support team of palliative RNs and home support aides for the wonderful care provided to Dennis during this tough time.
