It is with great sorrow we mourn the passing of Diane Elinor (nee Watson) Westerhof Anderson, recently of New Westminster, B.C. Born March 11, 1952, Diane passed away suddenly on March 29, 2018 after suffering from heart complications for several years.

The eldest child of Edward A. (Ted) Watson and Doreen E. Watson she grew up on her parents' Turkey and Aberdeen Angus farm founded by her great-grandparents in Whonnock in the district of Maple Ridge, B.C. She graduated from Garibaldi High School in 1970 and married Edske (Eddie) Westerhof in 1976. Over some of their years together Diane and Eddie operated their own dairy farm in Ladner. After Eddie's retirement they moved with their only son Bryce to their home in New Westminster. They later spent several years with Eddie's nephew on his farm in in northern Alberta where Eddie passed away in 1998. Diane and Bryce returned to their home in New Westminster. Later she met and married Tim Anderson in 2002 until his passing in 2012.

Diane spent many years RVing, boating and waterskiing with her family and friends. She loved to travel and one of her favourite vacation spots was Cuba which she re-visited many times over recent years.

Predeceased by her parents, Diane lives on in the hearts and memories of her son Bryce, her grandson Jared, granddaughter Avia, her sisters and brother, Maureen Boyce (David), Shelley Feenstra (Gary), Pamela Watson, Ross Watson, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and all the many, many, people that called her friend.

Special thanks to the New Westminster Police and Coroners' Service for their responsiveness and consideration.

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
