DENNIS Donald Allan. It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Don on November 5, 2012 age 74 years, at Ridge Meadows Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Tsui and the ICU Nurses for their wonderful care of Don. He was born on July 5, 1938 in Junee, NSW Australia. He emigrated to Canada in 1966. He was a member of the Australian Army for 8 years, where he trained to become an electrician. Don was a wond erful husband, great friend and the best father in the world. He loved life and loved to travel, which he did extensively. He loved to cook and was great at it. He leaves behind his loving wife Liz of 40 years; his daughter Tara and her two children, Ryan and Kaylie; his son Scott and daughter-in-law Karlye; his three siblings living in Australia, brothers Brian (Elaine), Max (Marie) and his sister Jean. Also, his many relatives both here and in Australia, and his numerous friends throughout the world. Predeceased by his parents Margery Brett and Phillip George Dennis and his sisters Marion, Onie, Trisha and Judy. His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 18th at 2 pm at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (Osborn’s), 11969-216th Street at Dewdney Trk. Rd.). Reception following at St. Luke’s Old Church Hall at 20285 Dewdney Trunk Rd. in Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Parkinson Society British Columbia, in his memory.
