March 22, 1944 - May 12, 2006
Passed away peacefully after a long disabling battle against M.S. and a shorter fight against cancer. Pre-deceased by parents Dave and Eltheen King and granddaughter Alice. Survived by loving husband Garry; son Kevin (Donna), grandsons Ben, Jay and Tai of Havelock North, New Zealand; daughter Leslie (Parul) Bhargava of Mt. Vernon, Washington and sister Lorna Jeglum of Lake Cushman, Washington.
Thank you to all the people who helped Dodie along the way with her disability and illnesses, with commendations to the staff on West 2 and Creekside Adult Day program, Maple Ridge Hospital. Also the Maple Ridge branch’s Fraser Health Home Support team who helped care for Dodie these past 5 years.
Dodie was an artist, homemaker and a lovely person who lived her whole life in Maple Ridge.
