It took our breath away,
when you left today.
But knowing you are resting peacefully now, with the Lord, is our saving grace.
Dorothy (Mom, Grandma, Gran) was born in Vancouver, B.C. She was a chef by trade, which had her travel, but never for long, as she missed her family & friends. Always remembered for her love/passion of her family & friends, and all she touched in her journey of life. When we think of Dorothy, we think of love. She was predeceased by husband Alfred, 2 daughters Arlene Marion and Deanna Rose, great granddaughter Amanda Rose. Survived by son-in-laws Gordan Chadwick, Don Modequillo, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, step daughter / son, extended family & friends. A special thank-you to all who took care of Gran in Gardenview. You made the days go easier for her with your love & care. Memorial Service to be held at Burnett Fellowship Baptist Church, 20639 123 Ave. Maple Ridge, 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 6th, 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer (Lung) Society.
