GOODE, Duane Alden, 67, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 26, 1945 in San Bernardino, California, Duane moved to BC in 1970. Duane spent 30 + years teaching at schools in Coquitlam and Vancouver, including Mundy Road, Terry Fox, Templeton, Pinetree, and Port Moody Senior. He is survived by his wife Bette, his children Emily (François), David (Angela), Elizabeth, Anna (Ryan), grandson Benjamin, brother Howard (Réka), niece Éva (Josh), nephew Steven (Suzanne), brother in-law Lloyd (Dawn), and many close friends. A special thanks to the caring staff at the Christine Morrison Hospice and Ridge Meadows Hospital as well as his team of doctors. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 17th from 1 to 5 pm. Please contact Anna at 778-846-9555 for more information.
