Edward "Bear" Scott passed away quietly in his sleep on May 16, 2018. Ed, Bear, Scottie Scott served for 30 years in the Corrections Service, where day after day, he and his fellow officers put themselves in harm's way to keep our community and children safe. The service takes its toll and he more than paid his dues. He is now at peace and pain free.
He is celebrated by his wife Debbi and daughters, Hillary, Keelie and Amanda, Grandchildren Zoey and Asher - Brother David Scott, sisters Catherine O'Brien, Susan Dale and Mary Nowee - many nieces and nephews and cousins. He will be missed.
A memorial service will be held on June 9, 2018 at 1 pm Jubilee United Church, Gray and Rumble St South Burnaby.
