Mom came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride after serving 4 years in the R.A.F. Special Operations, Radar. After raising the family in Burnaby, Mom and Dad moved to Tsawassen then Maple Ridge. When Dad passed away, Mom remained independent and moved to Pitt Meadows. Mom will always be remembered as the driving force behind the family get-togethers.
Many thanks to Mom’s friends who helped her over the past 14 years, and especially to Violet Harpham who has given Mom’s prized little pup, Mandy, a new home. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Hospice of Shirley Dean Pavilion in Surrey for their compassionate care during this difficult time. A Celebration of Eileen’s Life will be held on Friday, June 30, 2006, 4 – 7 p.m. For information, please contact one of the sons or email email@example.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in the Memory of Eileen Fairfax, Surrey Hospice Residence, 13750 – 96 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3V 1Z2, would be appreciated.
