On Thursday, September 20, 2007, Elsie Laura Evans, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 years with her loving family by her side.
Elsie enjoyed living with family surrounded by grandchildren & family & friends coming and going to the end. She noticed, appreciated & was interested in all around her each day, that is how she lived her life.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband Tommy, son Jerry, daughter Arlene & granddaughter Laurie. She is survived by her children Iris, Wayne & Pat (Jim); 7 grandchildren Lee, Daryl (Raquel), Lynn (Joey) & Dana, Angie (Luis), Julie (Mark) & Susan; 4 great-grandchildren, Tessa 9 yrs., Gracie 4 yrs., Estevan 6 yrs. & Zachariah 3 yrs.
A Celebration of Elsie’s Life will take place starting at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Whonnock Lake Hall with refreshments to follow.
