Eugene Jeffery Hicks passed away on May 16, 2021 at the age of 79.
Survived by his loving family; wife Diane, son Mark, daughter Linda (Rob), granddaughters Kisha and Kacey, 2 sisters Elaine and Barb, and his adopted mother Mary. Always working with wood, Gene had lots of projects on the go from large room renovations to the wooden toys he made and donated to children in Maple Ridge.
He loved RV travel; had wonderful trips across Canada with Diane and their RV cat, Alex. He was very loved and will be missed with many fond memories.
Special thanks to the nursing staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital for their care in his final days. In lieu of flowers donations to the Starfish Program or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
