Ev and Doug met and married in Vancouver and built their first house on Dumfries St. In the early 60’s they immigrated to California, staying for 4 years and making many lifelong friends. The family moved back to Vancouver in 1966 and started a business, Bekk Die-Craft, where Ev and Doug worked until their retirement. In 1983 they moved to Maple Ridge and enjoyed traveling to Europe, US and Mexico, and studying family genealogy.
