We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother, grand- mother, and great grandmother. She fought a valiant and uncomplaining battle with lung cancer and died peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
Widow of Frank Low (1957) and Ed Mickey (2003), and also predeceased by her son Raymond and grandson Kevin, she leaves behind her sons, Gary, John (Janice), Doug (Marilyn), Randy, daughters-in-law Lynn (Frank) and Bonnie, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sister Francis Weinrauch, sister-in-law Olive Robins, many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friend Kim Robinson.
After retiring from the Vancouver Aquatic Centre she became an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles and volunteered at the blood clinic. She will be forever remembered by her crafts and baking.
A celebration of life will be held at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765-224th Street, Maple Ridge on Tuesday December 12, 2006 at 7:00P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
