On Monday Sept 26th, Edie Forseth, our dearly loved mother, passed away peacefully at Heritage Village Care Home in Chilliwack. Edie's strong faith and dedication to the Lord, her deep love of her family and her open friendliness toward the people whom she came in contact with, is a testament to her life. She expressed her humble and giving spirit through tremendous love, compassion and wisdom spiced with a good-natured sense of humor right up to her last moments. Her passing leaves both a void and a legacy in our hearts. Edie is survived by her children John (Terry), Betty (Art), Marilyn, Linda, and Ron (Avis), her many grand/great-grand children, her own sisters and brothers, and extended family. She is deeply missed by all. We'd like to extend our deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at Heritage Village who lovingly cared for our mother with dignity at all times and made her last years as pleasant as possible. A private family burial service was performed in 100 Mile House and a in celebration of Edie's life is held on October 22 at 2 p.m. at Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Road, Abbotsford.
