BRANSTROM, Floyd Leo "Buz"
June 29, 1940 - June 10, 2010
On Thursday, June 10, our good friend, buddy and longtime companion Buz was taken from our midst. In his youth Buz was widely known for his prowess in lacrosse and other sports and that passion and fighting spirit never left him right to the end. Even though he suffered greatly in recent years, Buz seldom complained. He retained a keen sense of humour until his final days. Always proud of his Nordic background, Buz would often regale us with his stories of that heritage. Once an avid sport fisherman, Buz recalled with fondness fishing trips with family and friends to B.C.'s interior. Buz is survived by his longtime companion Mary Holden to whom he was devoted and many friends and relatives. No service by request. A gathering of friends will be arranged at a later date.
